Accepting applications for ongoing openings in the Resource Management Agency. May fill at either II or III levels depending on experience and qualifications. These are CIVIL engineering positions.
Typical Duties: Perform a variety of civil engineering work relating to road, bridge and drainage design, survey, flood control, railroad crossing improvements, traffic channelization and solid waste projects; assist in preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, contracts and environmental impact reports; check survey records, subdivision maps, descriptions and maps of special districts for code compliance; collect hydraulic data, calculate bridge load ratings and traffic indexes; communicate with the public concerning various public works projects; may act as field inspector on construction projects.
