The Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources is offering a challenging opportunity for qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Principal Analyst, Human Resources. The incumbents will assist Human Resources Managers in developing, implementing and administering a variety of countywide programs. Principal Analysts make recommendations to Human Resources Managers regarding policies and procedures for programs, develop program strategies and initiatives, and investigate operational problems. In addition, they conduct special projects, research new trends, and recommend innovations to enhance program effectiveness, viability and integrity. Assignments may involve work in such areas of specialization as classification and compensation, recruitment and examining, training, benefits administration, and other activities related to human resources management and systems.
