Analyzes and makes recommendations for the solution of accounting, budgetary, and other financial problems including problems of accounting systems design and implementation.
Positions allocable to this class work under the technical and administrative supervision of an accounting, fiscal, or budget officer. Incumbents have responsibility for the solution of problems encountered in the operation of computerized and manual accounting, budgetary and fiscal systems. Incumbents must exercise knowledge of the framework of the principles of finance and accounting applicable to operations and transactions. Incumbents must also exercise knowledge of pertinent statutory and regulatory provisions and related economics, budgetary, and accounting principles and practices.
