The Finance Director is an exempt position under direction of the City Manager. The Finance Director manages the finances of the City, directs the activities of the Finance Department and serves as City Treasurer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of City goals, objectives and priorities.
Establish departmental programs consistent with and supportive of these goals, objectives and priorities.
Plan, organize, monitor and direct all departmental programs and activities.
Oversee and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of all aspects of the department’s programs.
Recommend selection of department employees.
Assign, direct, train, evaluate, reward and discipline employees.
