Art in public spaces has a tradition in San Diego and a new exhibit at the Museum of Coronado History and Art opened July 3, 2008, and displays examples of current projects from Coronado's and San Diego's collections of public art. This exhibit will be on view through mid-November, 2008. Through colorful and imaginative models, photographs and sculptured pieces, visitors will have the opportunity to see a sample of the variety of pieces, some commissioned, which have been on display in our community.
