QUEST Quality Emergency & Safety Training is offering American Heart Association First Aid classes in San Leandro on the following Mondays (6pm to 10 pm at the Nightingale Nursing Center): August 4th, September 1st and September 29th. The American Heart Association First Aid course will cover what to do until 911 arrives, how to care for an injured or suddenly ill person in the first few minutes of an emergency. The course consists of watch then practice learning and discussions involving the whole class. Wear comfortable clothing, as we will have lots of hands on practice. We will teach scene safety, standard infection precautions, bleeding control, bandaging, what to do for shock, burns, medical emergencies and more! The American Heart Association First Aid card carries some weight therefore if you want a card there will be written tests throughout the class. We will make every reasonable effort to help you pass the tests.
For your convenience, we can also bring our classes to you at your place of work. Group rates are also available.
