QUEST – Quality Emergency & Safety Training has American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR for the Healthcare Provider classes that are still open for enrollment. These classes will be held on the following Wednesdays in San Leandro from 6:00pm-10:00pm: July 16th; July 23rd (recert); July 30th, August 6th(recert), August 13th, August 20th(recert) and August 27th. Classes are held on the following Mondays in Livermore: from 6:00pm-10:00pm: July 14th; July 21 (recert); July 28th, August 4th (recert), August 11th, August 18th(recert), and August 25th. Please go to our website to enroll in any of these classes, there is still room. These classes are not just for healthcare providers like RNs, Paramedics and EMTs, but also for anyone interested in a more in depth CPR that also involves bag valve masks and AEDs (Automatic External Defibrillators) not done in some of the non-provider courses. Adult, child, and infant CPR and the new AED guidelines are taught in a friendly, fun, and informative manner with lots of hands on practice. Wear comfortable clothes as you will be practicing CPR, rescue breathing (on mannequins of course), barrier devices, and more.
