Contra Costa County Health Services Department is recruiting individuals on a continuous basis to fill journey level Physical Therapist positions. Therapists may be assigned to the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez, the George Miller Centers in Richmond and Concord, or the California Children Services Programs located throughout the County.
Physical Therapist II is a journey level classification. Employees in this class perform a full range of general therapy treatments with a greater degree of independence and proficiency, in addition to applying more specialized and advanced therapy treatments. Some individuals may assist in providing technical advice and training to less experienced staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
License Required: Possession of a valid license as a Physical Therapist issued by the Board of Medical Examiners of the State of California.
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time experience of its equivalent as a Physical Therapist.
Other Requirements:
Prior to employment, a background investigation will be conducted. Fingerprints will be taken.
