The United States Army is currently seeking motivated people interested in careers in Law Enforcement. Today's Military Police Officers are unique, highly trained and use cutting edge technology.
Nineteen (19) weeks of job training for Military Police Officer consists of comprehensive instruction, including practice in police methods and operations. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field. Some of the skills you'll learn are:
** Military and civil laws and jurisdiction
** Crime scene and vehicle accident investigation procedures
** Evidence collection procedures, fingerprinting and suspect questioning
** Use of multiple firearms
** Traffic and crowd control procedures
** Arrest and restraint of suspects
No training is necessary, but helpful attributes include:
~~ An interest in law enforcement and crime prevention
~~ An ability to remain calm in stressful situations
~~ An ability to think and react quickly
We offer very a competitive salary, 100% free medical and dental, life insurance, retirement, and thirty days of vacation with pay per year to start. If you already have college credits or a degree, you are eligible for instant promotions and we may be able to pay off your college loans up to $65,000. If you do not have a degree, we can offer you up to $74,000 to further your education !
Applicants must be US Citizens, 19-41 years old, and be able to pass a written and medical examination. A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required, so some law violations may disqualify.
