Position Description:
Come to the Southwest YMCA and make a difference! Under the direction of the Kids Corner Coordinator, the Babysitter is responsible for providing a safe and happy environment for the children at our drop-in child care center.
Qualifications:
This position requires a commitment to the YMCA mission and its core values of: honesty, respect, responsibility and caring as well as a commitment to building developmental assets in adults and youth.
Candidate must have experience providing care to children ages 0-12 years. Must provide diligent and conscientious care of the children, including interactive play, games, crafts and reading. Feed and diaper as needed. Must maintain a safe and clean Kids Corner facility.
Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. Minimum Age: 18
