Position Title: Welcome Center Attendant - 67001
Hiring Range: $8.54 – $12.81 per hour
Status: 2 Part-time Week Day Openers (19 hours each) M, W, F & T, TH, F
Hours: 6:00 am- 3:00 pm
Branch: Northwest YMCA

Position Description:
The Welcome Center staff member controls the flow of members, guests and the public into a welcoming facility environment and helps people access our services. Staff must open the facility on time, greet members, scan cards, communicate program and facility information, answer phones and register members for programs. The Welcome Center staff member also assists with membership tours and enrollments when necessary.
Areas of accountability include membership/program knowledge and enrollment, customer service, registration systems, cash accounting and other registration operations.

Qualifications:
This position requires a commitment to the YMCA mission and its core values of: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring as well as a commitment to building developmental assets in adults and youth. Additionally, the YMCA values diversity, youth, and a broad vision of health and wellness which is enhanced by relationship building. The appropriate candidate for the Courtesy Counter Attendant will have good customer service, excellent communication skills, good attendance and the ability to contribute positively to a great staff team.
