The Contra Costa County Health Services Department is recruiting individuals to fill experienced Cytotechnologist positions which will be assigned to the Contra Costa County Regional Medical Center in Martinez, California.
Senior Cytotechnologists coordinate quality assurance and quality control programs in cytology; document and maintain State and Federally mandated statistics; revise cytology manuals as needed, and write protocols for new cytology procedures. In addition, a Senior Cytotechnologist schedules and records preventive maintenance for medical instruments; resolves day-to-day technical problems; collects data and information for Pathologist and assists less experienced cytotechnologists with complex laboratory tests.
