LINCOLN LIFTING
ONE-TON TRANSMISSION JACK w/ DIFFERENTIAL ADAPTER
CAT. #W93717 * TRADE PRICE EQUIVALENT NEW : $2,169.00
$500.00 FIRM
First, I would like to show you a picture of the current version of the item being offered, and point you to where you can buy a brand-new one at a competitive price. You can purchase the current version of the Lincoln #W93717 One-Ton Transmission Jack (which is now known as the Lincoln #W93718) on the Internet for $2,169.00 (plus shipping) out of Ada, Michigan.

Most noticeable difference is the cradle - that yellow thing on top.
DIFFERENCES: The Lincoln Transmission Jack #W93718 pictured above, and the Lincoln Transmission Jack #W93717 I am offering were manufactured approximately 20 years apart from each other. Only a neophyte would believe that they are identical in every respect. The most noticeable difference in the two units is the CRADLE - that yellow thing in the above picture.
At first, I thought the newer style cradle was an improvement. Then I took a long look at the cradle on The item being offered, and considered the cost of manufacturing each. I eventually realized that the older style cradle on The item being offered would be stronger and more expensive to manufacture.
The actual item up for your consideration: a Lincoln #W93717 One-Ton Transmission Jack -

You have probably never thought about it, but transmissions are usually removed but left in-place while clutch and associative work is performed. Differentials, however, are usually removed completely from the vehicle site for repair or replacement. Ideally, the best method for differential removal is an overhead cherry-picker. When that setup is not available, the Lincoln #W93717, with its optional Differential Adapter accessory, works just fine. I know because I did it... once.
